I have been trying to set up several e-mail accounts, but I can only receive in some. When I try to send, I get a message, "rejected by one of the recipients." The really strange thing with one address, ruzinsky@general-cathexis.com, is that I can send to another of my addresses, ruzinsky@sysmatrix.net, but nobody else.

Can anybody give me a clue about what is going on and how I can correct this? I have Outlook Express 5.

Could it be that you're attempting to route mail through through a mail server other than that which belongs to the ISP through which you are connected to the internet?

Yes, but what is wrong with that? What do I do about it?

My ISP is sysmatrix.net. The ruzinsky@general-cathexis.com is through my web site hosting service, digitalinet.com. They have practically no customer support, so there is no point in me asking them for help.

Many ISP's will only allow you to send mail through their server if you're connected though them (it's a spam prevention measure).

You're gonna have to try speak to 'em and find out whether this is indeed the cause of the problem.
