problem with Autocomplete in IE 5.5

Hi!
I have a strange problem with my IE when I enable autocomplete.
Autocomplete for Web addresses is cool.
But Autocomplete for Forms and Usernames, when enabled, DO NOT work. Instead, they cause the browser to slow down (eg:. when i check hotmails, first enter the username, then press tab twice and then enter the password. But with autocomplete feature enabled, pressing Tab sort of "hangs" the computer for a while (approx. 3 seconds) before it moves to the next field.

So autocomplete for me, is not a time saver, but exactly the opposite.

 

Autocomplete will become slower as your History folder gets bigger. Flushing your History should speed things up.

 

no use buddy. Like I said, it not only slows down IE, but anywhichways the autocomplete does not function!
