    I have the following configuration:

Windows 2003 with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services running
    Using a domain called iee.com
About 30 computers in the network, all WinXP Pro

I recently started to join the computers to the domain, right now I have 5 computers up and running, with no problems joining the domain and sharing folders and all.

When I started to work in computer #6, all worked fine, no problems joining the domain at all, but when I wanted to access the domain, it says that I don´t have the privileges to access iee.com.

The weird thing is that when I go to the option "Search the Active directory ", I can locate machines, users, shared folders and groups of the domain!

    What could be the problem?

And sorry for my english, I´m from Mexico..

The website "www.iee.com" appears to belong to a company called "Equipment Engineering Services" based in Delaware. If this is not your company, using iee.com is going to cause you issues as it is a valid domain used by someone else on the internet.

If you are setting up a local internal network, I would recommend that you use a .local address as these are set aside for local private networks. So iee.local for your network.

The problem may be that computer #6 is looking at the internet iee.com rather than the local one. Check the DNS setting via IPCONFIG on computer #6. DNS needs to point to your 2003 server on all client computers.

Also check that when you log on to computer #6, the domain is set as your network domain and not the local computer.
