Windows Vista Problem w/windows update KB954430

    Keep getting a prompt from windows update to install KB954430, Security update Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 service pack 2. It is showing as already installed twice. Have tried hiding the update, but the prompt keeps returning. This happened after I installed Norton 360 ver2. Suggestions?

    Problem appears to be gone. The update was for another update KB927978 for the same core services 4.0, pack 2. Still don't know why it wanted me to download KB954430 twice? There is a direct download from Microsoft for KB954430, that will let you modify it, fix it, or uninstall it. If the message from update appears again I may try fix or uninstall and then reinstall.
