My default mail client is Outlook Express 6; however, under IE, Tools, Internet Connections, Programs, Email is blank. Outlook Express is shown only beside Newsgroups.

This causes a problem in sending emails from a web page because the page cannot open Outlook Express and the same thing occurs when I try to scan from a wireless printer into Outlook Express Mail.

Hi - been following the thread as I have the same problem "could not perform this operation because the email client has not been properly installed "... followed all suggestions here and elsewhere (checking that OE6 is default mail client, checking registry) and still have the same message coming up. Also have a problem downloading including when I downloaded IE7 to reinstall) and opening attachements from webmail - it's as though access to the temp internet files folder is not authorised .... Both these problems started at same time. Anything else I can try?
