I downloaded a PDF document that has the equivalent of what should be about six to ten pages shrunken down to one 8.5 x 11" sheet. Currently, the only way I have of viewing it is on-screen and enlarged, which is great; but, if I print, it prints ALL OF IT on one single sheet. The words look like a string of dots and can't be read at all, even with a magnifying glass.

Does anyone know of a way to break this PDF out of these restrictions?

I have Acrobat 9 Pro if that would help.

Click here to see the document.

It is encoded as a single page document so I guess the odds of making it multipage are nil.

    However this works ....

Use the Windows 7 Snipping Tool - or an equivalent in another OS and snip the first 4 'pages' and print out the snip. Repeat for the next4 pages, etc. Works like a charm :)

As Pete said, I opened your link in Foxit and I used MS snipping tool and Saved to Pictures > Opened with Windows Photo Viewer > Copied > opened MS Word 2007 > Pasted > enlarged the snip of the Remote to Full page and printed an A4.
There may be a quicker way, but it worked for me. Neil.

Yes, I've done that in the past; but, I run into this and similarly short-sighted PDFs too frequently and sure wish there was a less time-consuming fix.

I hate it when PDFs print this way. Looks like the vendor would make *readable* documents after they are printed.

Doc, we're keeping people in employment - paper producers - distributors - Retail shops - re-cyclers. This reduces the Dole Queue. Neil.

I used to print quite often, but most of the manuals I printed are not used that much, so I try to read PDFs onscreen now unless I need a portable hard copy.

Office documents are a different animal though.
