My wife's OE6 seems to be strangely deleting e-mail messages from some of her Inbox subfolders. I have some e-mail backups I created using the store folder. I tried to import one folder from the backup group - I put it in a separated folder in My Documents. When I use the Import Wizard and try to import that one folder, I get the message shown below.

I have successfully imported the entire Store Folder before but this is the first time I have tried to do only one file or folder. Any thoughts as to what I may be doing wrong. Also, any thoughts as to why e-mails may be disappearing from some of the Inbox subfolders?

During the Import - as you're drilling down to My Docs - do you see the file you're trying to import from?

Might try coping the file to the desktop and import from there.

    Steve,

Sorry for the delay. I tried putting the file on the desktop but came up with the same result.

Interesting note. My wife has Google Desktop Search that she has used in the past to successfully find e-mails. She just used it to look for a certain e-mail and it found the e-mail and it is one that was in one of the store folders that now shows as empty. So the e-mail is in there - apparently not in the store folder that is used for the maintenance of OE.

If I could find where those e-mails might be lurking, perhaps I could import them from that location. Any thoughts on that?
