I have two Win 8 and two Win 7 computers on my LAN. One of the Win 8 computers has a RAID 5 drive that I have designated to Share with Everyone. Until recently, I could access the drive on all my computers, but recently I created a new administrator account on each system and made the account I normally use as a Standard account. I can now access the drive on the other Win 8 computer in my Standard user account. On the Win 7 computers, I get a message that I don't have permission to access the drive if I'm using my Standard user account. I can only access the drive if I'm logged on as an administrator.

Setup sharing again on the drive.

TonyT, thanks for responding to my problem I tried that and it didn't work. I got a message on the Win 7 computer that it had something to do with not belonging to the Homegroup. The Win 7 did belong but the admin account on the Win 8 computer didn't. I joined the Homegroup and ait seems to be working now. I don't understand why it was no longer a member of the Homegroup and it worked prior to changing the accounts and it continued to work on the Win 8 computer.
