Is it possible to network a Windows 2000 Pro computer to a DOS based computer? I'm guessing the answer is no, but you guys know better than I :)
    TIA,

Yes. To some extent. If the version of DOS is fairly recent (in DOS terms). You will probably need to install some stuff on the DOS PC but the NIC install will take care of most of that for you.

The other possibility would be to use DCC (direct cable connection) via serial or parallel port and null modem cable but you would still need some networking files loaded on the DOS machine I think. Been a while since I've done any of that.

And not a stupid question at all.

Oops. Ok. If you are looking for ammunition for the DOS to 98 upgrade, I take back everything I said.

Nope. No way to network a DOS system. :D
