Good Day, I have a Brother HL-1850. When I print some email and web pages I lose the left edge and the text cannot be read. How can I fix it so when I print something that I get the text to wrap or fit on the page so I can read it?

A couple of suggestions... Check for an updated driver for this printer.
Go into the printing properties and reduce the margin (left margin) size, so the printer will allow printing closer to the edge of the paper.

Suggest print preview (in file menu) and page setup in the same menu if necessary.

    Hi Oldsalty,
You may get the whole page if you print in landscape mode. This is the only way to get the whole width of some web pages to print.

I had somewhat the same trouble once and solved it by changing the text size in my browser. This setting evidently was overriding my other settings and was using the same pitch at the printer.

The strange thing about this is: If I would use MS Internet Explorer the page would print normally, If I used Netscape (my preference) the print would not fit on the page. I still don't know why but I do know that is what was happening.

Hope this helps someone, Ed B
