    hi all,

Hoe you can help, this has me stumped. One of my network machines has decided to set the default number of copies to print at 880. I work with kids so they often don't look at that kind of thing when sending stuff to print.

Despite being a technician for decades this has me beat, I can't seem to get it to drop back to 1 copy. Its driving me nuts.

Hard to say for sure but with my HP 5550 if I go to configure printer and change the copy number and save it is the same the next time I go to config.

Don't just go to print something and change it there. Go to the actual printer configuration.

I would delete the printer software. Reboot and reinstall it.

    thank you.

    Thanks for the replies all.

I deleted the printer and it got rid of the problem after reinstallation. That was my last resort really as I wanted to figure out what was doing it !

Still ! thank you for the replies guys.
