    are we red faced

Key word here dude is software; not T-shirt. How where you able to flip/mirror in win98? What SOFTWARE/EDITOR whatever you want to call it did you use? I promise I will not use the word "T "-shirt again:)

Look on the "Features" tab of your printer setup for the "Flip Horizontal" box. If it isn't there then it's because it's not supported in XP. You might want to cry to HP about that.

In the meantime, you can get some helper software that will do that function for you, as Rancher is suggesting.

If it were my problem, I'd copy my design to a good graphics editor and let it do the flipping, most of them do that very well. Then print it from there.

There you have it in spite of yourself.

Thank You all for trying to help me out, well I think that it might not be supported through HP Do I have to purchase something else to do this (helper stuff) or do you know if there are "freebies "

Have you tried opening or copy/pasting your creation into Windows Paintbrush and using it to flip the image? I don't know what program you are using to create this work but it should allow for copy/pasting. If its a graphics program, you will be able to open the file it creates by opening Paintbrush and browsing to the file. Perhaps if you post back with more details we can get down to specifics. Spill it all so we don't have to pump you for it. I have little patience and probably need a nap, so watch it! ;)

Sorry 'bout the gender flub:) Ya don't want to take our joshin' toooooooo seriously tho;) Glad you are progressing too! The little free viewer "IrFanView" can do lots more then paint tho. Have you downloaded & install appys from the internet?

Another try is to remove the HP 610cl printer from the 'printers and faxes' menu/reboot and install your win98 drivers. I've had this work for an old flatbed scanner:D

Spoken like a gentleman and a diplomat. I salute you for your savoir faire.

    phan76,

Stick around YL, the bark is worse than the bite. We need folks like you who can ask the questions that others are just sitting there wondering about. Then when you get up to speed, we'll need you to asist in this help effort. Try not to take any of it personally. Most personal comments are offered in jest and have an element of truth in them that is meant to be constructive criticism. Those that aren't have no place here.

    Welcome.

ps, Post back your final results or if you need further help. We don't want you wiping out your t-shirt wardrobe. ;)
