    Info you might need:
    Lenevo 3000 Notebook
    Vista home Premium
Brother HL-2040 on a wireless network connected to a XP Desktop.

The Printer would not work, then the Spooler stopped working. And when I go to services.mcs or type net start spooler in CP. It will not restart. It says Error 1067, which is of course an unspecified error. I have searched every board i can find, and now I have come to you. I need to be able to print. How do I resurrect the spooler? You time and thought is appreciated.

NB: I have no Lexmark Printers installed.

    I saw that...

    Arie,

I saw that on your sticky, and got excited, and installed it. However, it will will not work. I have a feeling I deleted a registry key that I should not have trying to fix the problem before the patch came out. If you are running vista, help me on this:
    In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\
I deleted all the string values except the default. I have a feeling I should have left the 4 or so that were there. Could you tell me what string values and entries should be there so I could manually reenter them? that would help a lot.

If this doens;t work, I also notices on event logs that i am getting a mysql browser error occasionally also, could this be related?

    I have nothing there.

Under \Drivers\ I have a sub-key \Version-3\ which list my printers and has 3 keys:

    "Directory "= "3 "
    "MajorVersion "=dword:00000003
    "MinorVersion "=dword:00000000

    I doubt it.
