I did a search first for Win7 only, no results.

So, I have 2 printers on my system. An HP PSC (All-in-One) 1610 and a HP Photosmart 7660. I went to drivers install and there is nothing in the printer drivers list for my HP 7660, but there is for my PSC 1600. So I had Win7 install the PSC drivers and when it had me print a test page it went to my HP 7660 and it just gave me a Winlogo in the upper left corner and that was it.

    Any ideas?

    Pepse.

Generally seaking - most instructions say to plug the printer in when prompted after the drivers have been installed.

So..unplug the 7660 and see how the other one does.

Hit the Browse for more printers button - must be connected to the internet.

That's how I got the driver for my ~15 year old HP Deskjet 520.

Right now I am on another hard drive. But when I was in the printer drivers section there was a driver for the HPP 7700 series and I was tempted to use it but changed my mind; because in some circles my printer would be part of the HPP 7xxx series. But I am trying to get closer like the HPP 76xx series. I will disconnect the 7660 and go from there.

"Hit the Browse for more printers button - must be connected to the internet." Did that, no change from the list it provided when I first did that when I went to the printer driver install.

I was working on my sound card issue in Win 7 today and forgot about trying to get the HPP 7660 straightened out. For now I am just gonna use the HP PSC 1610. It is working fine by itself. This is alomost a non issue as at least I have 1 printer responding. I imagine HP Might get drivers for this once Win 7 is out an running.

My sound card issue is, shall we say, more entertaining.
