I have an issue with my printer not picking up paper when printing. I can 'force' the paper in and it will print just fine. I have researched the problem and it appears to be that the rollers maybe need to be cleaned? But I am somewhat foggy on where to figure out the location of those rollers and how to clean them?!
My printer is a HP Deskjet F4580. I have looked online at the HP website and the pictures/info they show have me at a loss. Guess I need someone to "take me by the hand" to help me understand all of this! Hope someone can guide me? Thanks!

Hi Vicki, this is a similar model to your printer and I think you should be able to follow the details OK.

Thank you RL for finding this video for me to watch! It definitely is more explicit than any other instructions I've found! While I haven't actually tried any of the methods yet, it makes it look relatively simple to do! It may be a day or two before I can actually tackle this printer thing, but wanted to express my gratitude for you taking the time to find this info for me!

After watching this video again, I did try the option of "unplugging the printer from the power supply", etc. I think that might have done the trick! I've only tried printing one item thus far, but it worked (no forcing the paper through this time!) I'll definitely keep this info in my help files in case I run into problems again! So for now I'll mark this as resolved. Thanks again retiredlearner for your help!
