My printer was working up until 2 weeks ago, but then I must have done something. There is a problem printing to the port, and it sayas check to make sure printer is using a valid port, and it seems to be o.k../Brad

Hi Woodman - Welcome to the Board :)

First off go Control Panel > Printers and Faxes (or similar - I'm using XP) . righr click on Printer > Properties > Ports and check that LPT1 is selected.

If it is then delete the printer, reboot and let Windows find it again.
