I want four print settings for my Epson C82 and have 3 set

I want the No color settings because I think I read that the printer uses color ink even when I see no color in the image.

    Draft - with color SET
Draft - with NO color SET
Best Quality - with color SET
Best Quality - with NO color THIS ONE IS THE PROBLEM

No matter what I do, keep getting color. What setting am I missing

    Hi tenbob

Are you using the Epson C82 XP Printer Driver v5.4cAN file name "epson10443.exe "? Assuming you are, next assumption.. like my XP / HP R40 printer driver, some of your options are not available / will not work. For myself, "High quality print" would NOT enable via XP screen. BUT... If I selected manually from printer itself, then request and send the report to the printer quickly... BEFORE the printer returned back to default "normal print" I could use the "high quality setting ". Not knowing what options are available for your printer you also could try this... Use the "Best Quality - with color SET ", now go to the option which controls your color. Is there a option for "grey scale "? If yes, try using it. It may not be convenient, but could be a work around.

    Thanks for the quick reply

I didnt get a chance to test all your suggestions but one thing did jump out at me and I checked the advanced settings

There was one for "Black Ink Only" that I had somehow missed.
    That did it
