hi i am doing this web-based project which is database intensive.
I am facing problems printing a webpage.

Normal printing is possible using basic javascript functionality. But the problem is it also prints the "Title Bar" as a header and "URL" as a footer which is totally undesirable.

How can i print a page w/o the header & the footer appearing.

Try going into File>Page Setup in IE and removing the entries under "header" and "footer. "

WOW!!! Cool trick! Now, will this only work for that one time you printed, or, if by deleting that info, will it stay deleted so that every time you go back to print it won't be there or will you have to delete it each time you want to print something? Did I confuse you? LOL! I keep re-reading that last question and it sounds so weird. Any hooooo. I'll just wait for an answer.

Hope this trick was the one you were looking for, pritish.

    :)

ROFLMAO! You are sooooooo right about that, Miz! Thanks for getting back to me on that. I'll be writing the code down in my book in case I want to put it back.

    :)

Miz - "Random Resetting" indeed. What a calumny.

Resetting in M$ products is by design and will happen whenever the temperature in °C (to the nearest tenth) multiplied by the barometric pressure in inches yields a whole number (nnn.00).

    cal·um·ny Pronunciation Key (klm-n)
    n. pl. cal·um·nies
A false statement maliciously made to injure another's reputation.
The utterance of maliciously false statements; slander.
