Preview pane does not work???

Seem to have all of the correct settings as in under view preview pane is turned on, but, I currently cannot get it to work when I point to documents or jpg files. I must have changed something to keep it from working. Have checked websites for solution and even installed a reg file to turn it on, but, it still does not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Evan, thanks already checked these suggestions, but, even with preview pane enabled nothing happens when I point to the document with the mouse??? It did work, but, I must have changed some of the folder settings and now I cannot get it to work. In folder options I have show preview handlers in preview pane checked. Maybe there is some other setting that is preventing this in folder options? Maybe a mouse setting is wrong? Any other suggestions?

Evan, found the problem. Actually, there was no problem. I did not have the window open wide enough to see the previews or the details. I spend about 3 hours trying to correct a problem that did not exist!!!
