Here in our office we have had a couple of incidents where somebody accidentally dragged a folder to a new location when trying to open it, causing a long search process. Is there a way to "lock" file/folder locations, or at least cause a prompt to ask if you really want to move the folder?

    Thanks for the help.

It cannot be blocked or locked or messege prompted.

Usually with time and user experience the issue disappears.

I know it is annoying. Note that System Restore cannot help for this issue.
