premier 6 DV control problem

    HI
    When trying to capture from my digital video camera I am getting the message "The DV device is unavailable for device control "
    It always worked in the past, recently I used video for windows and I may heve altered something. If you can help...Great.

    In the project settings box I notice that the Capture Format (DV/IEEE 1394 Capture) has the message 'Unable to connect to capture driver' This seems to be my problem and I don't know what to do.Thanks
