When I burn CD's i use the application Prassi Primo which was included in the bundle with the CD-Writer.

However, a few days ago I came across an application called MP3 CD Maker V1.80 which is a shareware program. Eventually, this application burns audio cd's directly from mp3's without the step to convert to WAV files.

Do you think that if i install this application will conflict with Prassi and is there a way to burn a cd in Prassi that will be in audio format instead of in WAV format.

    Thanks for your advice!

Considering its price, I'd recommend going with a full-featured application, like Nero:
    www.ahead.de

It appears like that app creates mp3 CD's that are playable on an mp3 player, but not necessarily on a regular CD player (not an expert on this!).

Nero can make the mp3 CD's and all other types as well, all in one package.

As far as these apps working together, I am using Nero, CloneCD, Padus DiscJuggler, and Virtual CD with no problems.

You can also make ordinary music CD's with Windows Media Player. Make a playlist and right-click the files to send them to a CD (there is a conversion process first).
