have a client that is receiving .pps attachments and wasnt able to view them. reason was he naturally doesnt have powerpoint on his system. not a big deal have done this tons of times had client download the 2003 m.s. powerpoint viewer. download and install good.

when client still tries to open in outlook express tells him no association is there for this program. strange viewer should open it. had client save attachment to desktop then right clicked and open with and selected the viewer and it worked just fine. the install did the association cuz i checked the folder options and its there just the way it should be.

so why can we open the .pps as a saved to desktop but not able within express ??? makes no sense to me have done this many times for clients with no problem. this is a brand new dimension with xp home.
