    Hello.

I have Windows XP Pro installed. For my HighSpeed DSL, I created a connection using Windows XP's built-in PPPoE client. Everything works fine, I can connect, receive e-mail and browse the internet. However, a good 20% of pages I want to see don't open.

When using Enternet 300, I have no problems at all - except that
it gives me a slow boot time. In any case, I would really like to use
the built-in PPPoE client in Windows XP (faster, uses less resources).

Why do some pages don't load with Windows XP's PPPoE?
Is there a fix for this without using third party PPPoE clients?
    Has anyone seen this before?

Some example of sites that work when connecting with Enternet 300 but not with Windows XP's PPPoE client:

    www.gravis.com
    www.monster.ca

    Thanks,

    S81.

You may have another problem. I can access both your posted sites using PPPoE WinXP and third party. :)

Well, I found a fix for my problem. Had to reduce the size of my Maximum Transport Unit (MTU) setting to 1452 (it was set at 1454).
