I recently downloaded and installed successfully Powerpoint Viewer 2007. I need it to view some files sent to me. I do not have Microsoft Office however today I received icon notification in my system tool tray and it indicated updates I should download. Only 1 was indicated for the Powerpoint Viewer (Update SP 1) so I downloaded and installed it. My question is concerning the other security updates it said I needed:
KB954038, KB951550, KB934002, KB951944, KB954326. These seemed to be for Microsoft Office which I do not have.
Microsoft support want $49 to answer this question since Office wasn't installed on my computer when I got it.
Would appreciate some advice on this and also if I don't really need these updates how can I get rid of the reminder in the system tray ?
    Tks

These are most likely related to PowerPoint files (I just checked KB954038 and it is) - which you would have with the Viewer, you should just install these.
