PowerPoint Problem

On my old computer I was able to open pictures sent to me needing PowerPoint to display. Unfortunately, once I set that feature up I put it out of my mind, and now, with the new computer, I have completely forgotten how to do it. So I have a batch of pix just sitting there that I can't access.

How I do acquire the PowerPoint function?

Exactly what I had, but don't know how to get hold of now. I just got so used to it on my old machine that details of how I installed it have long since fled. Can you (power)point me in the right direction?

BTW, I can't get Private Messages; I can't even get email from this site. Something in Thunderbird is blocking stuff from here, and I haven't been able to figure out how to unblock it.I guess the Firefox/Tbolt site will steer me right, now that I think of it. (Should have thought of that much MUCH sooner.)
