power editor

    Can anyone tell me how to get rid of "power editor" re Internet Explorer ". Thank you.

    Is this the 'Power Editor' you refer to? ....

    Nothing here about removing it, but ways of not using it.

    Take a look under Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons and disable it if present.

    Look for an entry in Add/Remove Programs and uninstall if present.

    To PeteC: Yes. I have mail.com as my web-based e-mail. The contact person at mail.com said that she does not know how to get rid of it. Can you tell me how? Thank you.

    Beyond what I have already posted I have nothing further to suggest. Never heard of Power Editior prior to your post and very little info on Google. Sorry.

    To PeteC: I think I discovered a way to avoid the Power Screen at least on web-based e-mail. When setting up the e-mail account, set it up so that it uses plain text and not HTML.
