Post-SP1 hotfixes guide - bat install

    i wrote this guide for batch installing post-SP1 winxp pro hotfixes, but the batch files don't run when i try to run ? nothing happens ?

    any ideas why ?

    A group of hotfixes should never be installed in batch form. The intermediate restarts and overlaps between the updates makes this a risky and unproductive procedure.

    MS has apps for net installs of updates---look into that.

    I have been doing some reading since my last post and it seems that after sp1 you can install hotfixes without having to restart the PC more than once. THis quote is from Microsoft

    The info is about 1/3 of the way down the page. It also explains the switches and how to set up a batch file properly, which, I assume, is where eva2000 got the format from.

    All this said I haven't actually tried to run my own yet, I will let you know when I do. It will be all updates since sp1.
