possible virus on usb stick

i have a usb pen drive which may have the Conficker worm. What is the best method to clean (if it is infected) this pen drive on a clean pc. I have already disabled the autorun feature on the clean pc by setting the NoDriveTypeAutorun value to FF, however, I am not sure if i should take any further precautions before inserting the usb pen drive. As regards AV, i have Mcafee VirusScan Enterprise version 8.5.0i
