Porting Profiles to another puter

I have transfered NS 7.02 profiles over USB cable from desktop XP to Notebook 98se. Put them all into the correct Application data\mozilla\profiles\*.slt folders .

Bookmarks, Addressbooks , all work fine.

The 98se does not find the mail or newsgroups. No inbox, sent, trash.

I kept the created 98 *.slt folders for my individual profiles. Did not change them this time. Did not change the Chrome contents.

Names of the profiles are the same on both puters.

What have I overlooked?

I would create a new Profile for the Win 98SE Laptop. See if the Moving Profiles from PC to PC page helps.
