Port Fowarding for Speedtouch 530

Hi,

I’m trying to forward a port for uTorrent and, for the life of me, can’t get it to work. I have a Speedtouch 530 modem hooked up to a Belkin wireless Cable/ADSL router. I’ve followed the instructions on portforwarding.com to the letter and still can’t get it to work. I’ve tried port forwarding in the past for other P2P programs but ended up giving in; so it’s not just uTorrent.

I’ve made sure I’ve set a static IP and am pretty sure I have the right values for input ip, output ip and their respective ports. I don’t know what else to check/try.

Any suggestions would be awesome. Please let me know if I need to supply more details.

What WAN address does your Belkin get from the Speedtouch?

I got a feeling you are going to have to forward it on both devices.

 

Yep just checked and the Speedtouch 530 has NAT.

You will have to forward the port in the speedtouch to whatever IP it's handing out to the Belkin. Then forward the port in the belkin also.
