Pop Ups

Hey there!

Well, I just reformated my hard drive and installed a new version of Windows XP and whatever version of IE that it comes with (6, I think).

You know when you click on a hyperlink that opens a new window? Well, when I click on one of those, a new window pops up but nothing ever loads. Ever. It's like the computer forgot what it was doing.

I've tried everything I can think of. I've looked thru all the options and even turned my security to LOW.

What is the problem? Does anyone know the answer?

 

Try:

Start > Run, and type:

REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL

Click OK

When done, open Internet Explorer, Tools menu > Options > Programs Tab > and click the "Reset Web Settings" button.
