Can someone tell me how, when I have my NS Pop-up Blocker enabled and NO Allowed Sites, that I'm still getting some Pop-ups? This was the latest 1 advertising some stinkin' iPod or something. Here's the link that it had:

Can you tell a bit more, I can't see your computer from here. And, if it is a Netscape7.1 or 7.2, did you remove the allowed sites from popup controls.
What is the URL of the site which you were in?

  3. to hide this advert.

Using ver. 7.2. Yes, I removed the allowed sites. The ad was the Free Flip Phone from Cingular. It came up when I was reading e-mail. It's the EXACT same ad that's on the NS7.2 home pg. right now on far right of screen, in the middle.

    Thanks,
    George

Since there is no such thing as NS7.2 homepage, and you were using mail, you may have the Mail Start Page checked (prefs|mail and newsgroups). If so, unchecked it. However, I am not allowing any popups from home.netscape.com, and I never see a popup. That site does not show anything on the far right, which is totally blank.

    That's not the same Hmpg.

    Westside,

'preciado for the assist, but the Home page I was speaking of was the www.home.netscape.com where they have the CNN headlines. Sorry 'bout that. I said home page because that's what MY hmpg is, except that ad isn't there anymore. It's a "Find Low Fares ".

    Tanx,
