Pointer directory

I am trying to install ASC Ult 11 on the e drive, a usb drive, on a laptop with only 32g on the C drive.
Iobit put in a constraint to prevent this.
I am thinking perhaps I can circumvent the constraint by having a program or executing a Dos command, which I suppose either way would have to be part of boot sequence. The Dos command would say to the system, , if you see c:/extra dir, substitute e:/extra dir (apologize no backslash on tablet).

 

Hi, If you are using W10, why not uninstall Iobit as there is no need for it in W10.
W10 is safer and more secure the previous OS's.
Have you only got 32GB's of space left on your drive?

 

The entire c drive is 32gb and I have trouble getting my c drive down to 24. There is a Windows update that won't install because it wants 8 gb. Even though I tell it to use the space on my e drive for working space.
It seemed to me there was a Dos cmd to substitute a dir for a dir but I cannot remember, and also need to put it in boot, probably there must be an sponsoring wrote to manage this.

 

What device are we talking about with only a 32GB storage?
