Pogo game rooms will not open

Ok why is it when I go to pogo.com and try to open a room that has a table it will not go anyplace. I used firefox before and it never gave me such fits. I had to reboot from factory settings and now I lost everything. I updated to the new version of firefox and now I get no place. Can someone please tell me what to do to fix this problem so I can play with my friends again. Thanks

 

Try the pogo java test--may have to uninstall and reinstall java.

Pogo.com's games use the Java plug-in, so if you don't have the Java plug-in installed or you have an out-of-date version, you will not be able to play our games. The following test will tell you if you have a good version of Java installed on your computer and, if you don't, it will guide you through the update process.

 

Java is not the problem. I have the current java and can run all games on the old version of firefox. The new firefox will open pogo but will not allow me to open any tables or bring up any games. Also with the new firefox I do not have the tool bars I have currently with the firefox 2.0. I have to go back to this version of firefox to get anything to work. Its upsetting to me cause I like firefox better then IE, but am not able to use the new version of firefox. This old one has half a screen but its worth it to get into pogo.

 

Have you seen Mozilla Firefox KB on Pogo
while the version reference is very old (1.5), the settings for Pogo are detailed and worth a check. Not being able to open up a room sounds like maybe a popup blocker is in place and preventing it, and/or the necessary cookies are not enabled, or one of the other settings mentioned in the KB article linked above is incorrect in Firefox 3.5.2. You also might try disabling addons, just as a test to see if something is interfering on Pogo - AdBlocker Plus is an addon I've seen mentioned as problematic. Worst case, you may need to revert to an older version of Firefox that works on your computer and enables you to play games at Pogo.

 

Did everything suggested still no good. Will not let me open any table or game. I will just keep using the older version of firefox. Thanks for all the help.
