Hopefully some one here may be able to help me, the kind folks at the Elements Village Forum could not. I recently bought the Adobe Elements 10 software which loaded and runs fine. I have a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 MkII printer that does a wonderful job and I wanted a plug-in tailored to that printer. I downloaded the program from Canon that does just that. Once installed I am suppose to see an "automate" option on my file menu in Elements 10, but none to be found. I then found out from the folks at Elements Village that you have to install the plug-in while you have a picture up on Elements 10 as if you were going to print it. So, I installed the plug-in, Windows 7 said it was installed but I still did not have the "automate" option in my drop down file menu on Adobe PSE 10. I also have the Canon Digital Photo Professional software installed and low and behold, it loaded it in that software program. So I'm figuring that if the Canon software is installed, the plug-in is going to default and load into their program. So...I uninstalled the Canon DPP software and restarted the PC and once again installed the plug-in thinking this was going to do the trick. Not so Charlie, Windows 7 said it again installed it but it is nowhere to be found. Doesn't even come up on a search. Anyone have an idea of what might be going on? Oh, and Canon does state that this plug-in will install on Adobe Elements 10. Thanks.
