"PLEASE INSERT DISK INTO DRIVE F" error when opening Flash disk

    I have flash disk with GB 4 which I previously use it for storing and accessing data, but for the moment whenever I try to access by clicking it’s drive letter of removable media the message appear "please insert disk into drive Fâ€. I tried to change drive letter and path using disk management tool but still receiving the same message.Please may anyone help how can I recover my data. I am using computer with window XP sp 2.

    I'm guessing that rebooting doesn't help... Did you try ejecting it and re-inserting it?

    Do you have another pc you can try it on?

    Hi Karms, I see you are still running SP2.
    I would sincerely suggest you install SP3 as support for SP2 has ended.

    Hope they come back. Post in Feb. the first time and was given help and never returned till today.
    I also agree on the SP 3 thing...
