    Dear Expert,

After re-install my Win XP, I can't into standby anymore. Following is error info.

'Device driver for standard keyboard (101/102) or microsoft keyboard will not allow you to exchang to standby mode. Close all application and retry again. If it happens again, update your driver'

Then mause point disappeared. I have to restart my machine to get it normal.

I am using Sony Vario PC with P4 1700Hz, XP home.

Thanks in advance for any advise!

I experienced this problem when I installed Adobe Acrobat 5.0. When I installed Acrobat, it also installed Adobe TypeManager, and TypeManager was causing the problem. I uninstalled TypeManager and everything has been fine since. If you have TypeManager installed, try updating it or uninstalling it.
