About a week ago my computer started acting really crazy, it started first with the internet, most of the times i would try to go on the internet but the "this page cannot be displayed" error came up. But i knew i was connected to the internet. If i pressed refresh a random amount of times eventually the page would come up. The problem got worse and was too much of a hassle. I installed AVG 7 free edition and did a scan and found out i had around 18 viruses/worms. One of them was the Mytob worm. I deleted everything i found. I ran a scan in Ad-Aware, and deleted all the entries. Then i installed Panda anti virus and ran the scan but it didnt pick up anything. The problem still continued and only got worse. Now all my administrator privlages are gone. I cannot open the registry and have to use a 3rd party tool to try. System restore is shut off and wont turn back on. Task Manager doesnt work. All have the same message ".... has been disabled by the administrator ". Tonight i finally got the internet working after using a registry cleaner, by luck i fixed it i dont really know how i did, but it works fine. The Administrative stuff is still there though. I scanned with Ad-Aware and it picked up two "windows" critical objects. They are from my registry and one is disabling my Task Manager, and one is disabling my Registry, i can tell by the names (DisableRegistryTools, DisableTaskMgr). Both of their values are set to 1, when i try to set it to 0 they just turn back to 1 again. Here is a HiJack This log...
