Hi can someone please help me, I've altered my boot.ini file hoping to delete a deleted XP installation from the boot menu, but I deleted the wrong one. Now I cannot boot my working installation :(

I have a software RAID 0+1 set up on 4 HDDs and one HDD running normally. I have XP installed on the RAID 0+1 set up and had an old XP installation on the stand-alone HDD. I deleted the old XP intallation on the stand-alone HDD, but the option was still present in the bootloader, so I decided to remove it from the boot.ini file. I've accidently deleted the bootloader option for the installation on the RAID 0+1 configuration (that I need).

Like an idiot, I failed to back up my settings or create any kind of system restore disk. Is there any way I can save this installation or am I *******?

Any help is most appreciated. I'm at my wit's end.

Make sure you have your RAID drivers on diskette.

Boot from the XP CD and enter Recovery Console:
    http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/wxprcons.html

    In Recovery Console:

    Run "Attrib -H -R -S" on the C:\Boot.ini file
    Delete the C:\Boot.ini file
    Run "Bootcfg /Rebuild"
    Run Fixboot

Type Exit and restart your computer normally.
