I would like to be able to play short .wav format files (it can be other formats as well) over the mic so the other person on the receiving end of the mic could hear it. I have already thought of holding the mic near a speaker. I would create a hot-key soundboard with all my needed sounds and if they could be -- injected into the microphone in line that would be great. Multipull Google searches have yielded nothing

    Awesome testing now...

EDIT: Not quite what I wanted, I wanted to be able to still hear sound through my headphones, but not let what I am hearing play into the mic, only the specific wav file

EDIT 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKGk3BqPmhc I found this video, I have followed everything but now zone alarm is stopping a process (dseo13b.exe) from running and I need it to allow it to show the line in input.

Apparently, you'll need to do some configuring of Zone Alarm's Setting/Options/Preferences (whichever terminology it uses).

I haven't used Zone Alarm in years so I really can't help with that but someone else may have, if not the solution, ideas of things to try.

Click the ZoneAlarm icon, (usually by the Date/Time on the Taskbar), and select "Show ZoneAlarm Control Center. Select Program Control on the left pane, then select Programs. A list of programs will appear where you can mark them to Allow access to the Internet. If the program is not listed, click the Add button at the bottom-right corner, then browse to the application file to add it to the list.
