Pinging web sites is possible but no Surfing

    Hello,

    I can ping web sites but I cannot surf. I have even reset winsock but doing the following: netsh winsock reset catalog. This allows me to surf again but after I rebooy machine I am unable to surf again. Is there a permanenet fix?

    Check you anti-virus/firewall software. This sort of problem can often be caused by AV software misbehaving. Personally, I'd also uninstall QoS scheduler from the network properties.
