    Hello

    PC1 connected to a wireless router through ethernet;
    PC2 connected through wireless Network card;
    Link is about 80% (very good or at least good).

    I have a software on both pcs to share but can't be accessed.
    PC1 and PC2 can access shared folders on each other BUT pinging the router is with no reply.

    Please advise.

    Thanx

    Most routers have a setting "to not respond to pings ". This is a desired security feature so as to be able to prevent detection of the router by comps outside the local area network. But pinging within the local can be desirable, so check your router control panel for these settings.
