    I have 2 pc's networked up connected via a crossover cable,
    1 pc is also connected to a cable modem for broadband access,

    I have managed to get both pc's on the interned using a small freeware proxy util,

    BUT

    I can ping outside address's from the pc connected to the modem but my pc2, comes back with time out errors;

    I have tried setting the gateway but could only then get a succesful ping from my pc's outide ip address,

    Please help

    Wazz - more detail please.

    How are the IPs being assigned?

    Do the PCs talk to each other properly?

    Do the PCs get on the internet properly?

    What exactly are you trying to do? As in a local LAN and internet for both or what?

    What OS(s)?
