Downloaded pictures off of sd card from digital camera. Pictures downloaded ok, so I deleted them off of sd card on camera. When I went back to my pictures, they were gone. I tried AgentRansack and other searches, but no luck, pictures are gone. When I tried to use a recovery off of the SD card by plugging camera (using usb cable) into the PC, I got nothing! No indication by the PC that the camera was plugged-in. How can I proceed in order to try to recover deleted pictures from SD card? Thanks Terry

Thanks Russ: After I posted I used CardRecovery software and the process worked ok. Thanks for your tip. One last question: The pictures went to My Documents as individual jpg files. Is there a way to move all 498 pictures in one step to My Pictures? Thanks Terry

Open My Documents folder and go to the first photo and click on it. Go to the last photo and hold down the shift key while clicking on the last photo. That should select all the photos. Go to Edit > Copy to folder or move to folder. Pick the folder you want to send them to.Then click the move or copy button. I think I would use copy that way you make sure you have a copy of all the photos. Then once you are sure they all are there you can delete the other ones.
