    I get a lot of boxes with a red X in them where pictures should be. What causes this and is there a way to fix it? Windows XP Home Edition, and IE 6

    Here is what Microsoft has to say about it.

    I experience the same thing intermittently. If you right click on the red x and choose "Show Picture," does the picture appear?
