Picture It - unable to retrive pictures from CD

I purchased a CD of the last print film I took to Walmart. A copy of Picture-It Express V7.0 is on it. I loaded the CD and when I try to get a picture file, a message says there are no pictures. When I go into explorer, the aren't any files showing in the pictures or previews folder. So, I took the CD to my friends house and the pictures (thumbnails) are right there.
I have a Gateway and Windows 98. I do not have any problems with my other software containing pictures/photos including Kodak EasyPicture, Adobe, Printmaster etc. Am I missing a file or could there be a file-type on Walmart's CD that my computer may not recognize? It is frustrating since every other application that I have works fine, but this $4 Walmart thing with freeware doesn't. Thanks for any help. BBNE

I don't know if this program will work to retrieve your cd information with wins 98 but it does work with xp. The name of the software is called cd check and you can find a free copy of it on http:/elpros.si/cdcheck.

I wish I could help you with this, but I just popped in so I could follow the thread because a friend of mine has the same problem! I'm hoping to find a solution here for him.
