Pic. now horizontally not vert. on taskbar

Hi, my digital pictures I D/L now go horizontally forever on taskbar. They used to go straight up. I must have altered something. Appreciate any help

Hello Bimmer Guy,
While I'm not sure what your doing or how your doing it, I'm going to take a stab in the dark and assume this is a "My Pictures" folder task on the the taskbar and ask if you have used the view options on the toolbar and made sure it is set for thumbnails and not "filmstrip" or something else similar.

If I'm totally off base, by my simple assumption, forgive me me and disreguard my suggestion. I may have lost a bit of gray matter scratching my head over this one.

 

Hi Ann: thanks, when I minimize a browser for example and keep minimizing any pic. within it they now go on left to right. The pics with in the minimized browser used to go straight up. I'm mentioning this cause it now clutters up the task bar. Hope I made it clearer

 

Right click on the taskbar and choose properties. On the taskbar tab, make sure the line that says group similar taskbar buttons is checked.

I gave it a shot and had "grouping similar tasks" in mind, also. Leave it to me to make the wrong choice when given 50/50 odds.... Glad its solved and thanks for the update.
