physical memory dump

Ok im not sure if this is the same problem shiela was having or not!

I play games like sof2 and nhl2003 and when i started with sof2 i would get playing and int he middle of the game i would get a bright blue screen and at the top it would say physical memory dump, this would happen once in awhile. Now i bought NHL 2003 this happens all the time and it is starting to P*ss me off.

I have 256 sdr ram
64 nvidea2 g force graphics card

any help would be appreciated as i am a beginner and need all the help i can get

Yours sounds like the game itself.

I would uninstall it or both then reboot.

Then run the following RegCleaners to finish the removal!

Reboot again after cleaning Registry. Make sure all startups are terminated, Virus scanners, firewalls etc. Then reinstall and restart again.

After then restart the startups.

This is the first thing to do.

 

i tried doing all of that and when i tried to play again it did not go all blue screen the colors on the game fadded anfd then it went all blue screen saying Kmode_exception_not handled
and then it went on to say address, at base and also date stamp

did not put in address as im not sure if i should on here?

any help would be appreciated

Next step.

Remove the memory sticks. If more than 1 reverse/reorder them. If only 1 then remove and reseat firmly.

This symtom is most times hardware.

Clarify! In your last message, you mean you did the proceedure with the Reg Cleans, disable of startups, reboots as I directed?

Or you had previously done an uninstall?

If you did it this way then OK.

Before you reseat the memory.

You may have something else walking on the game. So do you use SpyBot and Adaware?

If not do them and retest.

LOL spyware if you saw me play you would know i am in need of these things! As i **** at these games but i do enjoy playing them, Im off to the gym but will rearrange the memory sticks tomorrow.

Clarify! In your next to last message, you mean you did the proceedure with the Reg Cleans, disable of startups, reboots as I directed?

Or you had previously done an uninstall? If you did not do it exactly as I directed "cleaning registry" etc then do it that way.

Also ARE you going to do the cleaning? These things will do this to some programs. Most games run on the edge of maxing out a computer anyway. So instead of budozing over the rock it trips on the small pebble!
