When I connect my MS operating system smart phone to my computer, where are photos transfered to? How do I make them an attachment in Live Mail 2012?

OK, I upgraded to 2012 Live Mail on my Win 10 system and have isolated the problem. Live Mail refuses to send Photo Album files. If I attach just one photo - no problem. The moment I include a second photo, it changes them to a Photo Album file and will not send them. At the same time, if I send a single picture as photo album it won't send that either.
Does anyone know what the problem is here? This just started happening.

I came up with a good work-around. I open a new message/e-mail, enter the address from address book, title the message, then write whatever message I want to accompany the photos. Then down-space two lines, as the photos will appear in the body of the letter beginning right where the cursor is blinking. Then go to the "Insert" tab on the top tool bar and select "Single Photo". Your photo file will automatically open and you hold down CTL on the keyboard and select as many photos as you want to sent. Then hit send at the bottom of the window and all photos will appear in the text of your email.

Otherwise, I can only send one photo at a time, as an attachment, using the File Attachment rather than Photo Album.
Anything using two or more pictures in File Att. (which automatically converts them to Photo Album) or Photo Album, will not send.

Not sure. I usually send 8 or 10 at a time to a G-Mail account that I uses as one means of backups for photos. Have you tried to go to where they are stored and then hover over one of them, then hold down the ctrl key and go over to the next one then the next one until you have several of them highlighted then click and choose e-mail and send them to your WLM and go from there.

I just tried that from two different locations where they are stored on the harddisk. The problem is that the minute Live Mail opens with more than one picture it makes them a Photo Album instead of an attachment. It is the Photo Album format which Live Mail will not send. It just hangs-up in the Outbox.

Like I said. I have never had this problem. Are you sure you don't have a bad address maybe is why it won't send? Try sending it to just yourself and see if it goes.

That's one of the first things I did, try sending it to myself. Same problem. I was also corresponding with the email recipient to tell them the problem and they were answering me. The strange thing MrBill is that I origionally had the 2011 edition of Live Mail when this problem started, then downloaded the 2012 version to see if this would solve the problem, which simply continued in the exact same way. I almost feel as if there is a setting somewhere I could choose to eliminate the automatic grouping of two or more photoes into Photo Album, but can't find it. The problem is definitely with not being able to send the Photo Album format in emails, not the multiple photos. I have been researching this for two days now and found that in 2015 the same problem occurred to a lot of users, but M.S. fixed the problem. Now it has reappeared as there are many posts of users with the same problem. This happened when M.S. made a change in another program in the suite that now includes Live Mail.
